The Lines of Opportunity newsletter is distributed twice a year providing updates of different projects and events taking place at Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow. Everything from new staff members to our Spotlight on Success where we highlight an OBT alumnus for their career success after participating at OBT.

Lines of Opportunity Winter 2010 Edition highlights the success of the Battle of the Badges - Charity Softball Game. It also, highlights one of OBT Graduates story profiled in the New York Times. Read more on OBT's effort to strategically partner with other community organizations to meet the clients need. Furthermore, the Bushwick Workforce Resource Center serves its 1,000th client.

Summer 2009

Lines of Opportunity Summer 2009 Edition highlights many projects that are now an addition to OBT program services, the opening of the new Bushwick Workforce Resource Center; the Sunset Park Alliance for Youth, and also highlight the success of the first of its kind Speed Networking event in collaboration with Morgan Stanley. Lines of Opportunity Winter 2009 Edition highlights the success of OBT's first ever Employer Recognition Night that took place at Battery Gardens in Downtown Manhattan on November 18, 2008. In this edition of Lines of Opportunities, OBT Celebrates the First Annual Gala “Celebrating Sister Mary’s Legacy” where over 200 people attended. Also the launch of the New OBT Logo and colors. New programs at OBT; public speaking and communications and the success of the Adult Literacy program at the OBT Bushwick/Williamsburg site. Meet our new staff members.

Fall/Winter 2006

OBT welcome’s the new addition to the family, Mr. Randolph Peers as Executive Director. Highlights on the Street Naming Ceremony that took place on December 2006, “Sister Mary Franciscus Way” and Spotlight on Success: Richard Gomez an example of courage, discipline and professionalism.
