SAW was designed to promote job retention by providing young adult workers with:
• A forum of peers to discuss and/or ease the transition to the workforce
• Group and individual counseling for ordinary or extreme on-the-job problems
• Monthly monetary incentives up to one year of SAW membership
•Guest speakers for the corporate sector
•One-on-one counseling by supervisors at any time via telephone for those participants who cannot make the meeting.

Each participant will get a $20 check per meeting, ONLY if he/she confirms attendance by the end of business day on the Tuesday preceding the meeting; all participants that provide a pay stub within the first or third quarter of steady employment will be eligible for a $20 Metro Card.
